Excellence Resort Belek and ANTOK Collaboration:

Conservation of Endemic Plant Species and Sustainable Tourism

Ela Excellence Resort Belek has taken its commitment to environmentally conscious and sustainable tourism a step further by initiating a significant collaboration with ANTOK. This partnership involves a comprehensive effort to protect endemic plant species found in the Beydağları (Olympos) Coastal National Park, many of which are endangered. These rare plants, which are unique components of our forest ecosystem, hold great importance not only for our nature but also for future generations. As part of the collaboration, the natural habitats of these species will be mapped, and biological and ecological-based population determination studies will be conducted. In this way, the protection of endangered plant species will be supported, while also aiming to integrate these natural treasures into sustainable tourism activities.

Field Research

As part of the collaboration, field studies have been carried out to thoroughly examine the distribution areas, biological, and ecological characteristics of endemic plant species in the Beydağları (Olympos) Coastal National Park, leading to the development of effective conservation strategies.
